- Boom!

There it is! Four and a half years ago, way back on page number 4, (we were all so young and innocent back then) it was established that Rai is a freerunner. Now, it's about to pay off. Chekhov's sneakers have been hanging on the wall for a long time, and they're finally about to be laced up.

But how good an idea is this? What exactly is his plan? Is he going to run for 6 hours? Even Rai might struggle to do that. It's going to be a long night.

- Rai's plan will only work if the monster isn't faster or doesn't have quicker reflexes.

What are the odds of that? ><

- I wonder if he's doing this as some weird form of penance?

- Well, there's a lot of different interpretations of the single word, but all the ones that redeem Rai don't result in him being able to walk away

- Not gonna lie, I've been less than fond of Rai since Ansgar died, but this is a fantastic moment for him. This is making me start to root for him again, in spite of what he's done. He's made a lot of mistakes, but he's accepting responsibility and even when the consequences of his actions are biting him in the butt at the worst possible time, he decides to face it with some dignity. I'm not sure what will happen, but I know that from this point on, I care. And given that, for a while, I was thinking I wouldn't really care much if he died after he shot Cat, that's a heck of a comeback to make.
So bravo to him, and bravo to you. I can't wait to see how this goes!
